Storm Chasers

2 Storm Chasing energy merchants gather power from an eternal storm to supply to the floating city that rose up to save civilisation in the midst of an apocalypse.  One day, a noble from the floating city plummets to the earth. Subsequently saved from the frontier by the Storm Chasers, they promise to deliver the noble to the nearest orbital elevator; 3000 miles away.
